I was born in Goosebay Labrador on U.S. Air Force Base. Our family moved a lot because of my fathers military service. Most of my childhood was spent in North Dakota. In 1979 I joined the U.S. Army and spent thirteen years in the service attaining the rank of E-7 (Sergeant First Class). I served tours in Germany,South Korea and Africa. During my military career I served as a mechanic,motor sergeant,platoon sergeant and instructor. Since leaving the Army in 1992 I have worked as a small business owner and a over the road truck driver. In 2000 I ran for State Representative in the 138th District. I am currently Secretary of the Greene County Libertarian Party. I am married to my lovely bride of twenty years ,Bonnie. We have three children and eight grandchildren.
